Finding a place to serve

We believe that Christian service is integral to growth in the life of the believer. No matter what your unique gifts or talents are, there is a place to serve here at BCC! Click on the links below to find out more about you can get involved.

Children

We have an active children’s ministry with activities on Weds nights, Sun mornings & special events like VBS. It takes a lot of volunteers to raise the next generation! For more info on how to invest in our children, contact Sandy Shirk.

Youth

We are always looking for leaders with a heart for youth to help with Weds night activities, lead a Sunday school class, or help with fun social events and community service projects. For more info on how to get involved with youth, contact Gabe Smith.

Weds night meals

We have a generous group of volunteers who assist with Weds night family meal prep, serving, and clean up. To learn more about what the needs are, contact the church secretary.

Food Pantry

Our food pantry collects and distributes food to Suffolk families in need. For more info on how you can get involved, contact Bill or Cathy Rissell.

Church Committees

There are a number of boards and committees church members can volunteer to serve on. To find out what current needs are, contact Laverne Saunders.

Adult Small Groups

We are always excited to see new discipleship groups develop! If you are interested in leading an adult small group Bible study, contact the BOCE chair Juanita.
