VBS 2017 will be a super week--with all our super biblical heroes! Dinner begins each night at 5:00 PM and concludes by 8:30 PM.
Join us after church to help cultivate our community garden. We'll be preparing soil and planting summer vegetables as well as harvesting some of the early spring produce. The garden beds grow food for the Food Pantry that provides families with fresh produce. Please bring a change of clothes and any favorite gardening tools.
A great tradition to kick off Holy Week--come out for our Easter Egg Hunt, have your picture made with the Easter Bunny, and watch how fast the kids pick up thousands of eggs. Don't blink or you'll miss it.
Join us after church for lunch and then put your decorating skills to the test as we make special treats. We'll then deliver these goodies to some of our neighbors and shut-ins offering a sweet surprise. Hop on the church bus and spread the good cheer. Lunch will be provided!
Back by popular demand! Why not treat the love of your life to a great night of entertainment at Bethlehem. Our students will help put on a show and serve you as a fundraiser for their mission projects. Final details are still in the works, but look forward to an exciting night!
Glide into the new year on the right feet by slipping into a pair of ice skates. Let the cares of the world slide by as you easily, smoothly flow around the rink.
The BCC KIDZ and Teens will be serving in Bethlehem's Living Nativity. The kids will take turns being the shepherds, wise men, animals, Mary, Joseph, and angels in the nativity scene beside the church. This is an excellent opportunity for children through adults, so come out parents with your children. After the nativity, we'll enjoy dinner, hot chocolate, and then we'll go caroling to some of the homes in the surrounding neighborhood.
Come out for a wonderful Christmas Pageant put on by the children and teens. After the pageant, join us for a time of fellowship, refreshments, and a visit from Santa!
Join the BCC KIDZ after church for a fun day at the lanes. Pull out those bowling shoes, polish that bowling ball, and knock over some pins.
Our Annual Harvest Fest is moving to a new time--Saturday night! We'll have trunk or treat, hay ride, as well as roasting hot dogs and s'mores over an open fire. Try on your costume for a dress rehearsal for Halloween!
The Church Bazaar is a great time to find all sorts of valuables and collectibles; the BCC KIDZ will be selling plants and tote bags to help fund the many activities. See Angie for further details.
We are ready for our annual church picnic at Davis Lakes in Suffolk. We'll again be fishing and swimming and having a grand time.
We have a beautiful courtyard that is a perfect amphitheater and is just begging to host a nice movie under the stars. Our children will love watching a movie, drive in style, under the skies in a safe, confined space.
Everyone remembers how great Field Day was in school, but how much better can it be when it encourages a friendly competition among the families. Come out as we go family against family as we build relationships and ego strength as we have a hilarious time together. Open to all size families!
Who doesn't love trampolines, dodge ball, rope swings, and plunging into big sponges. Come out and enjoy a fun filled day as we tumble, bounce, and fly at the Cloud 9 Trampoline Park in Chesapeake.
A part of being a member of the God's Kingdom is giving back and serving others. To celebrate the love of Christ and to tell others how much we love them, our students will be selling electronic valentines. Buy a message to tell someone how much you love them or what a blessing they are, and the messages will be revealed on Valentine's Day during the 11:00 AM service. Feel free to honor your family or reveal your love to that special someone and help us fundraise at the same time! All proceeds will go to help the Suffolk Meals on Wheels as they deliver healthy food and fellowship with our neighbors in need.
Help us start off the year right! We invite you to come to church relaxed--dress up in your favorite pajamas and stay for lunch after which we will watch a movie together on the big screen in the fellowship hall. We'll have different movies for different age levels, so bring the entire family. Feel free to bring your favorite pillow or blanket and curl up beside the nice bowl of popcorn we'll have and enjoy time with one another.
